Holy shit, it’s been a while

I legit didn’t realize it had been this long since I posted.

First things first: WordPress has announced that you can now use AI agents to create/post/manage posts. That will not be happening here. All the writing, drawings, photos, glasswork, etc posted here are 100% me. No fucking AI slop.

Second, after the election where my country proved itself to be chock full of fucking idiots, I realized I needed to find my people. So I FINALLY signed up for classes at the Workhouse Arts Center.

I’ll post a roundup of everything I did last year (A LOT!) at some point soon, but this is one of my pieces from this year:

A wavy glass bowl made with a frit stretching technique. It is clear with varying shades of blue streaks that go to the center that look a bit like a firework.

Next Up!

This adorable little piece that I am going to frame as an ornament. I got it from the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary. (Sadly, it’s out of stock at the moment.)

I’m stitching it with a specific donkey in mind who is white and grey, so I’ll be doing it on Fiddler’s cloth so the white pops more. Of course, I have no grey floss whatsoever, so it’s off to Walmart. On a Sunday. God help me. (They have a great selection of floss, which is one of those things I never would have imagined, but I’m grateful for it.)
