About the site (and me)
CafeChatNoir.net started back in 2001 or thereabouts, because hey, the world needed another personal website, and at the time, I was using it to learn Visual Basic & .asp coding. It’s evolved into a place for my blog and photos and other miscellany. As evidenced by the rather long & varied category list to the right, I hit on lots of different subjects here.
If you’ve been here before, you may have noticed that things are looking a little different at the moment – that is a result of migrating the blog from LiveJournal to WordPress.
Me? I’m spectacularly average. I’m a student at the moment, and that’s given me the gift of time to pursue some of the other things in life I enjoy but had to put on the backburner while being a paycheck player. Writing, cooking, art and mucking about with computers and technology are filling my newfound spare time right now. I’ve got three great (and very spoiled) animals – Moxley, Target & Snoopy.
