One of the few broadcast journalists I really liked.

The name’s familiar, but I couldn’t tell you why (and I never watched Meet the Press.)

My heart sank. I loved him. Not so much for “Meet the Press,” but for his lighter moments and for how much joy and enthusiasm he had for his job, his family, and life in general. He would’ve been a great guy to know.
