I am not a skier, in any way, shape or form. I seem to have some fear of careening into a tree at 70MPH. But I really enjoy watching skiing and other various and sundry snow sports in the winter.
The commentators just said something about one competitor “making a big error” - I watched and all I think is, “Hey, you don’t faceplant, you’re doing pretty good.” (One guy did faceplant off a jump today - that one I was able to immediately identify as a problem even before the commentators.)

with your Karma, even if you tried skiing on a 17 mile wide open slope, that’s 40 miles tall, and only a 6 inch downward decline from the top to the bottom, on Jupiter…
somehow, SOMEHOW… a tree will come running out of nowhere, plant itself in front of you… and you’d hit it…
now, do I know you, or what ?

I agree with you 100% - I am best left at the lodge getting everyone’s drink orders ready.

To be fair, most skiers and snowboarders are only going 5-10mph when they hit trees or other people. ;)

No, can’t do that either…
#1. : you’d get locked out of the lodge.
#2. : you’d somehow poison everyone accidentally by using bleach instead of alcohol.
right ?

Scott - I’ve seen what 5-10MPH can do to a car bumper… ;)
Larry, I do tend to have good karma when it comes to alcohol.
