Can’t you just bludgeon the contractor? And then call another contractor to clean up the mess? That would be my preferred method.

Tempting, but they’re actually not the problem so much as every time I have to call one of them, it means I’ve found something else wrong with the damned townhouse preventing me from putting it on the market… The last one should be next Thursday.
