Thanks to Celia for letting me know that the area I was looking at in Philly is a pretty decent part of town AND giving me a restaurant recommendation to boot. Got my tickets for the museum exhibit, the flower show folks say there is no problems with tickets at the door, and hotel is booked. (And I am pretty sure center city hotels are making ALL their money for the year off this one week of the flower show.)
I’m thinking I may just take the train up - looking at the Amtrak schedules, there are tons of trains going up and back, and even with getting to the metro & Union Station, I think it would be better than trying to drive in an unfamiliar town.
It’s been much too long since I’ve gone somewhere new & different - this should be fun.
