Today was a very satisfying day. I ran 16 miles (longest ever) and it felt GREAT.
And I was able to put up my Marine buddy in my townhouse for a while while he waits for his deployment. He’s supposed to already be gone, but his medical clearance paperwork is hung up somewhere in the system at the moment, and the only place he has to sleep is the floor of his completely empty apartment, because all of his stuff is in storage.
It’s good to be able to help someone out.
