Interesting, but I can’t say that it surprises me the tiniest bit. However, I do have to give props to Quest for having the stones to refuse to participate.
I’m sure my weekly phone calls to my grandmother are setting off alarms all over the place… However, I do think we’ll see at least a slight increase in the purchase of disposable cell phones & prepaid phone cards with cash - while the call can still be logged, it’s a lot harder to connect the phone itself back to a particular user, because I think enough people are getting fed up with the idea of their every movement being potentially tracked.
