I was THIS CLOSE to getting through this week with at least a tiny shred of sanity left.
And then at 5:07, I get a call.
“The person that does the payroll is out, and we need someone to walk us through it. We’re at the point of importing timesheets.”
OK, it goes import, audit, compute, audit, cut checks, create DD file, create DD advices, post payroll, post labor. So far, everything is erroring out…
EDIT: The call is now at 2 hours and 28 seconds… They can’t find a working printer.
EDIT 2: We are now at 2 hours, 40 minutes, and 12 seconds. We’ve got 10 out of 11 checks printed.
EDIT 3: Final time: 2 hours, 49 minutes, 52 seconds. I think I’ll be able to do the Virginia Run race next spring in less time.
