I think in the last two days I’ve been bitten up more by various local insects than I did the entire time at the beach. Today I was out for all of 10 minutes pulling up some weeds, and I now have EIGHT nice big welts on my arms and legs.
Went by the house, and sometime in the past two weeks, the ceiling fan in my office decided to commit suicide, and threw itself to the floor, via my chair. Glad I wasn’t sitting there at least… In looking at it, I can’t even figure out how it managed to ever stay up there in the first place. The post office is also now holding my “unclaimed mail”, which is fine, I’ll go pick it up this week and have a little chat with them on the concept of placing a forwarding order means “forward the damn mail,” as they have been interpreting it as “forward three pieces of mail, then deliver everything else to old address.”
