Note to self: Do not wear anything that was worn to the Clarendon Ballroom without washing or dry cleaning first. I wore the same jacket I wore Friday night today and I kept smelling this weird plastic-y smell on and off throughout the day - finally figured it out - it’s the stuff from the fog machines they use there on my jacket. (It was actually freaking me out a little before I left the house, thought it was some odd smell coming off the new AC motor or something.)

Because is incredibly smart and suggested putting a cat door in the existing basement door, I was looking at those online just now. Hmmm, I think we’re gonna just have to wing it, the smalls are too small and the larger ones, the dog could probably smush himself through. May be easiest to just cut the bottom corner of the door as small as seems possible, and then enlarge if needed. Not like we really need anything fancy given it’s all interior anyway.

Abigail got two kittens this weekend - I can’t wait to see how long before they completely own her. :)

In amusing news, a monkey figures out that the San Diego Zoo really is a decent place to live: Takala, a golden-bellied mangabey, got out of the new monkey exhibit at the San Diego Zoo Friday. But he was found less than an hour later, waiting to get back inside.
