Well, that was one of the easier trips to the dentist I’ve had - cause he didn’t do anything. Says that fixing the filling is easy, no root canal needed, minor problem, no worries. However, the POS root canal that was done several years back on the tooth right next to it is pretty much a mess and really needs to be fixed. (It has been mentioned before, and had the mess stayed static, he would have left it alone, but it didn’t…)
So, I’ve got a round of antibiotics ahead of me and an appointment on 3/3 to get it all done at once - the filling will be the easy part, fixing the root canal issues will involve stitches and a couple “manicure intensity” follow up appointments. He has promised copious amounts of various mind altering substances to get me through it, so things should be fine.
However, it has taken me over an hour to stop the general panic/shakiness that results from simply having to be at the dentist…
