…is that I am completely out of practice with this dress up stuff, LOL. Last time I went to one of these shindigs was in ‘99. By then I had been doing it 8 years straight and had prep work down to a science.
- The dress situation has been resolved.
- Jewelry has all been located.
- Hair is clean. Wet, but clean.
- Three coats available to wear - preferred lighterweight one is among the missing. (Please try to contain your shock.) Second choice will do just fine - three quarter length grey suede. Would normally wear my long velvet coat, but since we’re having freakishly warm weather, I fear I will roast in it.
- Need to take some time to feed myself.
- Pocketbook is loaded up and ready to go.
- Makeup all in one place.
- Several brand new pairs of stockings at the ready.
- Directions have been printed out.
- Should go make sure I have enough pins for the hot rollers…
