Now, I realize that folks in China don’t eat Chinese food like you get in the restaurants. Same as most folks living in the US don’t have the same menu at home that you see at Logan’s, Outback, Red Lobster and such.
But it makes me wonder - do folks in China go out for Chinese food the way folks in the US go out for “American” food. And do they refer to it as ‘going out for Chinese’ or just “let’s get out of the house and have someone else cook for a change”?
Dinner was good, but I made an error in ordering and asked for Spring Rolls rather than Egg Rolls. There is no amount of duck sauce that will turn a cabbage filled Spring Roll into a Shrimp & Ham filled Egg Roll. They must have noted in the order that I needed the medicinal version of the chicken, cause there were tons of dried pepper on it. Yes, I can breathe freely! :)
