I scrubbed, I exfoliated, I double-soaped my hair and shaved my legs. Yeah, it’s nice to have power & water back.
No water and no power for short periods is really just an inconveience. I can’t get too upset about it. I had food I could eat cold, water set aside to drink, and a big ol’ box of handi-wipes for cleaning. (Sure, it’s not the optimal method of de-grunging, but it works in a pinch.) If I got to the point where I needed to boil water and still didn’t have power, I would have figured something out.
But, WOW, it’s nice to take a hot shower. :)
