’cause I need one more day to recover…
Thursday night - meet the big guy’s ex-gf and her new husband (Nancy & Edward), head to Adams Morgan for the night, and meetup w/ one of her college friends there. (Went to Tryst. First time I’ve ever been to a scandal related spot here in DC. How did Gary Condit NOT stick out like a sore thumb?) I so did not fit in there. But it was fun, but a late night - the gal we met there needed a ride home to Rockville (we all forgot it wasn’t really Friday and metro wouldn’t run late.)
Friday - hit the road. Down 29 to 211, hit Unicorn Winery, and Gray Ghost. Got wine. More driving about. Ended up crashing the festivites in Strausburg. Nice town, good fireworks and overall a really fun day. Pics of the day available here.
Another late night.
Today, off to lunch with Nancy & Edward before they head out of town. I think I must have gotten a bit sunburned yesterday, given that I am *so* tired today, and pretty much freezing if I’m not outdoors.
I need one more day where I can really sleep in - and thankfully, I’ve got it. :-D
