We have a critical contractor on one of our jobs here. Part of the deal is that we pay his hotel directly when he is here. (He stays at one of those extended stay places.) Well…. Mega Corp has stopped paying the bill. One month ago, the contractor sent an email to all parties involved neatly spelling out the problem and that it had to be fixed or he would have to walk.
One of the responses was that “it seemed like he had an attitude problem”.
Great vendor relations, huh?
As of today, the hotel hasn’t been paid, and the contractor is packing his things.
