Picked it up again this evening. More swearing over the fact that no one has bothered to set up a mapping system to strip out the data we need to get into the corporate system. I could do it, but really - I don’t get paid enough for this. I can do the accounting or I can SA the system - not both.
So, in coming up with a stripped down mapping system, I realized the other half of the problem.
The corporate “books” they gave me are out of freaking balance.
I don’t even know how we’re gonna fix that one. It will of course, be our fault.
I’ll be dropping this on my boss’ desk in the morning with, “Well, what NOW Kemosabe??”
