…doing some on the fly training on the new accounting system here. I have used it before, I understand the basic methodology on the setup they used (I would probably understand it better if I’d been in on the configuration side of things, but timing and all that…), so sure, I’ll lend someone a hand when it’s fighting with them.
However, with each passing day it seems that I am running into people that have gotten absolutely NO training on the system whatsoever. Not even basic instruction on how to code things for entry.
It never ceases to amaze me how much money companies will spend on software, but almost nothing on teaching people how to use it.
