Rule #1 If one gets physically ill, regardless of whether or not you feel better after said unfortunate incident, you stay home.
So, I’m home.
Rule #2 - When taking a sick day, any and all housework is totally optional. Anything done is for pure bonus points.
Observation: If you have a dog in the house, and a red fox bounding about gleefully in the snow behind your house, you will not get any extra sleep, and you will have a broken lamp.
I managed to actually get some things done so far today, too. Lunch for tomorrow is made, there is a load of laundry going, the chicken is defrosted for dinner, and the bed is made.
This is one of those days where I am convinced that I am truly cut out to be a Stay At Home Something….
